We started Rigby because we believe pets should eat like we do — often, intentionally, and with ingredients that actually serve them. But everything on the shelf was junk: empty calories, artificial fillers, ingredients we'd never eat ourselves. None of it was built to support our pet’s life.

We're Nick and Harry — brothers-in-law, pet owners, and the founders of Rigby. We set out to change the way dogs and cats eat.

Human-Grade Facilities

Rigby is made in human-grade facilities across the U.S., not repurposed pet-food plants. The same food safety standards that apply to what you eat apply to what's in every pouch.

Made in the USA

Made close to home means we can stand behind every pouch. Rigby is cooked, filled and sealed in American facilities, by American teams, under American food safety oversight. It also means a short journey from our kitchen to your door, and every batch stays close enough to answer for. When you make it here, you can look people in the eye about it.

Nutritional Standards

Every Rigby recipe starts with the sourcing. We choose ingredients for their quality first, organic wherever we can and wild-caught for our fish, and we trace every one back to the farm or fishery it came from. Then we keep the list short, seven real ingredients or fewer, so every ingredient earns its place. Short, simple recipes are made with sensitive stomachs in mind, and we design every profile for the best possible bowl. The flavor comes from the food itself, which is why even the pickiest eaters keep coming back.

Quality Control

Rigby is held to the same standards as baby food, because our pets are our children. Every batch is tested for quality and safety before it leaves the facility, held through an incubation period to confirm it's stable, and released only when it passes. If a batch doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't ship. We care for your pets as though they are our own.
