Alternatively, try first introducing the pouch by squeezing a small amount to your fingertip for them to try.

Rigby squeeze pouches are shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration prior to use. For best results, however, you may find that refrigerated pouches are thicker when used cold.

Yes, once opened, be sure to store in the fridge. Do not put pouches in the freezer.

Rigby squeeze pouches are hermetically-sealed and have a tamper-proof cap for safety.  When stored properly, pouches are good for up to 18 months - please reference the expiration date on the packaging.  Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight or heat. Discard any unusually-inflated or damaged pouches.

No, do not freeze Rigby pouches themselves. However, you can very easily squeeze Rigby into a bone-shaped ice-cube tray and freeze — give it a try!

Organic wherever possible, wild-caught or functional where not. Our Beef, Chicken and Turkey & Liver recipes are certified organic, and every other recipe uses organic ingredients wherever we can find them, with wild-caught fish where it counts.

It’s not uncommon for pets to experience a transition period when trying new treats, especially ones as high-quality as Rigby. The soft stool may be a sign that your pet is adjusting to the ingredients in our pouches, which are among the best available. If your pet isn’t used to these ingredients, it may take a little time for their digestive system to adapt. After this adjustment period though, their stool will firm up, and they’ll be able to fully enjoy the health benefits of such top-notch nutrition.

Peas are considered safe and healthy for dogs. They’re a good source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, and contain protein and lutein, an antioxidant. There has been some discussion about peas and other legumes possibly being linked to canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), a heart condition. The FDA has investigated this potential link and found little conclusive evidence. Experts agree that peas should be part of a balanced diet for dogs - as with any ingredient, they should be fed in moderation.

Unfortunately, once an order has started processing, we have no way of canceling it. This is because our shipping partner has already started moving the product through the distribution process. The downside is that we can't cancel your order, but the upside is that you receive the product on average within 1–2 days, no matter where you are in the country
